Salmon and Seagulls at Gold Beach, OR

Sunday started as a very foggy day. Even so, the views around our RV park here in Gold Beach, Oregon are scenic.

To the right is the view from our dining table. Even though it doesn't show, that's the Pacific Ocean beyond the grass.

Looking out the left front of the RV.

To the left of the RV park is a jetty. There were small boats everywhere fishing for salmon. To the right of us are 2 yurts. They had these in all the state parks we've been in. Do you know what a yurt is? Click here: What is a YURT?
When it cleared off later, we drove over to see a museum and get some supper. On our way, we had free entertainment watching salmon being cleaned and sea gulls being fed scraps. Those gulls are sooooo funny!
If you like salmon, your mouth might be watering by now.OK, everyone, pay attention and you'll get rewarded!
Now, now, no fighting!

We watched these two in action for quite a while. The scrap (fish head) was so heavy, the gull could only carry it for a short distance before dropping it.

That's not yours, I had it first.
Hey, that's mine!
I guess we can share......on second thought, no, it's MINE!

Have a soaringly good day!
