Oregon Coast Sea Aquarium

Friday morning we went to the Oregon Coast Sea Aquarium in Newport. It was THE BEST aquarium I've EVER seen. Ed's had a saltwater aquarium in his home so he had great respect for the skills needed to keep all these unusual creatures alive. This diver had a suction cup in her left hand, (to help her balanced and stable?) and was wiping the glass with her right hand.

Local glass blowers had donated pieces to coordinate with the tank decor and habitat in some of the tanks, which added quite an unusual touch.
Stone Fish
This tank had my favorite glass touches. You can see the eel on the bottom left.

An evening walk on the beach near our campsite at South Beach State Park near Newport.

Sea otters are so much fun to watch when they're playing.
