Dance Competion at Savanna Club

The Vortex Dance Company held a competition here in Savanna Club, our 55+ community with 1,900 homes in Port St. Lucie, FL.  

There were sooo many kids and parents involved and they were from all over Florida.  They were everywhere and many of them were practicing, even outside.  They were well behaved and their dances were really excellent.

It's heartening to see young people focused and doing something besides slouching around looking at cell phones!   Parents were with them and it was especially nice to see dads here.

These kids have amazing talent!! Thank you to Vortex Dance Competition for bringing such talent to our community!

Vortex Dance Competition

There were a lot of solo dances.  They are so limber and so disciplined in their precise routines.

There is also a lot of discipline and creative choreography in order to do group dances.

We were head over heels in love with these wonderful dancers.

There were so many groups and dancers that I think the competition went until about 8 p.m.

p.s.  You can tell that I know nothing about dancing, dance routines, or anything else in this field.  I do admire all the effort involved!
