Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise 2026 with Gary and Wilmer

I just saw Gary off to the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise.  He's driving to West Virginia to meet up with our friend, Wilmer Shank.  They will have a fun time together as they analyze and gasp over every kind of car you can imagine.  

Over 1.5 million people and 40,000+ cars make for interesting scenery.

What is the Woodward Dream Cruise?

The annual Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day celebration of classic car culture that attracts over 1.5 million visitors, and more than 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom vehicles, collector and special interest vehicles.

This event is to celebrate Detroit's rich car culture and heritage. 

The highway flower beds were in full bloom.

Global Attendance: While the vast majority of participants drive in from local areas and US states or Canada, the event officially attracts enthusiasts and vehicles from around the globe, including countries as far away as Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

The Goodyear Blimp flew over the event all day Friday and Saturday.
