Eggtravaganza

My church in Port St. Lucie, Florida, First United Methodist Church, has hosted their Eggstavaganza for over 10 years but I had never gone.

Somehow I had envisioned children running around screaming.  It was quite the opposite!  Everything was so organized and the children were well-behaved.

The 44,000 eggs we had stuffed filled the field.  Children got a LOT of eggs because the attendance was less this year.  We had had to cancel in past years for Covid so maybe the word didn't get out.

My friend, Sharon Jackson from Savanna Club, came with me.

This little girl seems to be wondering what in the world this big strange creature is.

There were many activities.

Face painting
 Jump houses
Crafts
Games

    (of hotdogs and hamburgers)
Some people emptied out their eggs and left them for us to fill next year.

The Praise Band played all day.

We hope Jesus was jumping for joy as we celebrated the
happiness of Easter with out neighborhood.
