We'll be out of touch for several days. We're still working our way down Highway 101 on the Oregon coast. We never know what will be around the next corner -- it goes from flat areas to mountains and back. Ed can't get over how wide the beaches are!
We stayed in Newport for 2 nights in a South Beach State Park but there were no vacancies for the weekend. We headed south today (Friday) and are staying in another state park for 2 nights where there is no internet or cell phone signal. If you wonder where we are, that's where -- in the middle of a forest!
The coast is impossible to capture in photos but we're having fun trying. It's one breath-taking scene after another. We're in a coffee shop now but it'll be closing soon -- just don't want anyone to get worried. Until later.....!!
